Founders Agreement

All participants applying for the program and/or being selected for the program, agree to the below terms:

  • Purpose: What Investor Wants aim to provide participants with valuable information and practical tools to become investor-ready.
  • No Guarantee of Funding: This program is designed to help participants become investor-ready, but it does not guarantee that they will secure funding. Success in fundraising depends on a variety of factors beyond the program's scope.
  • Program Content & Changes: The program content and schedule are subject to change at the organizer's discretion.
  • Program Material Accuracy: The provided templates and resources during the course of the program are for informational purposes only and should not be solely relied upon for financial decision-making.
  • Investment Risk: Investing in startups is inherently risky. The program does not provide financial advice and participants should conduct their own due diligence before making any investment decisions.
  • Commitment from Investors: The program may include interactions with potential investors. Please be aware that any commitment of investment expressed by an investor during these interactions is solely their responsibility. The program does not guarantee any specific investment outcomes, and participants should conduct their own due diligence before accepting any funding offers.
  • Information Sharing: In order to facilitate a productive learning environment and provide valuable feedback, you agree to share information about your business idea, market research, and financial projections during the "What Investors Want" program. This information may be shared in group discussions, workshops, and during pitch practice sessions.
  • Use of Information: The information you share will be used solely for the purposes of this program. This includes providing feedback, facilitating discussions, and helping you refine your business model and pitch. The program organizers will not use your information for any commercial purposes without your prior written consent.
  • Pitch Deck Sharing: The program may culminate in a demo day where you will present your pitch to a panel of investors. In order to participate in the demo day, you agree to share your pitch deck with the program organizers and the investor panel in advance. The program organizers will not share your pitch deck with any other parties without your consent.
  • Respecting Confidentiality: You acknowledge that other program participants will also be sharing confidential business information, including business plans and other details. You agree to hold all such information in strict confidence and not to disclose it to any third party without the prior written consent of the owner of such information. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from using this information for your own personal gain, for the benefit of a third party, or in any way that could be detrimental to the owner of the information.

By participating in this program, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above regarding information sharing and pitch deck distribution.
